as expected, tegan and sara were outstanding. sadly, i didnt enjoy my experience as much as the first time i saw them, and it was even the same venue.
LOM, MM and i have agreed that we're getting too old for shows...
pearl street ball room is standing, no seating. and that part is usually okay, except for the inevitable 7 foot guy who, oblivious of how his height impacts everyone around him, makes his way up close to the front and moves directly in front of us, blocking our view.
the other challenge for us old-timers was that the show was supposed to start at 7pm, but didnt start until 8:15pm. we're all worker-bees of one kind or another and had 2 hours of driving to do after the show. in fact, i just got home an hour ago with a 40hr work week ahead. ugh.
we all agreed to the following stipulations for our next show:
okay, we cant actually do anything about #3... BUT i think its a great idea and we should start a movement to end oppression of short people.

now i know that a few moments ago you were wondering, "why, if you have to work in the morning and have been home an hour now, arent you in bed???"
rest easy my friends. i couldnt go to bed knowing that my little red sox were moments away from winning tonights game. this was the big one... the "are we done in this post season series, or are we still in?!?!?"
im pleased to report, that after a 5 hour and 2 minute game... my babies won. thats right. Ortiz hit a homer in the 12th inning that put us at 6 and 4.
who's your daddy tonight a-rod???
