i dont drive but...

okay, so i dont have a car and i dont drive here in boston. but honestly, id really like to know why in the hell we're paying $3.50+ per gallon of gas, while its only 5 cents ($0.05) in iraq.

now, im clearly not at all saying iraqi's should pay more. its their gas. they can have it for free as far as im concerned. but if our whole freaking purpose of being there is to secure our oil and gas (which it is, regardless of what anyone else says), then im confused.

i also have to say that as of this minute, gw is still president. how is this freaking possible? this man is a complete and total idiot who thinks its funny as hell to joke about how trent lott (a guy who isnt hurting for money like most of the working poor in the south) will have a grand new porch that he looks forward to sitting on. what about everyone else? does everyone else get a new home with a glorious new porch which mr prez will sit on??? highly doubtful.

my heart goes out to hurricane victims, survivors, and those who have truly lost everything.
