i changed King Gough's water yesterday and the poor dear... he's so bouyant. he keeps doing his best to stay at the bottom, but when he stops swimming, he just bolts right back up to the top, like a cork! its actually rather amusing, although i feel a little guilty for giggling at him.
ive noticed that he's started hanging out in the castle i bought him a couple months ago.
its pretty cute... his little tail sticks out for all to see.
at first i thought it was b/c he didn't like the music i was playing. you know, trying to hide form the sound.
then i thought, maybe he likes the dark.
im not sure when it finally occurred to me that the reason he's inside the castle is so he can stay at the bottom of the bowl... it keeps him from rising back to the top.
on saturday DP quit everything and started fresh.
he's doing remarkably!
no cigs, no beer, no, ahem... other "stuff", no carbs... today is day four.
what a trooper :)
personally, i think the carb diet is silly, but i shall support whatever he chooses for himself.
i told him that if he can make it through turkey day, i will give him a big surprise. you'll have to wait too b/c if i tell you, he'll find out.
we watched the Ring last night. it was funny.
what? it was!
it was hard not to bust out laughing b/c it was soooo typical scary movie. i only got scared once, and it was exactly when you'd think id get scared.
the main character, Rachel, was looking through these papers after breaking into someone's house, and she uncovered.... a giant centipede!
so, it wasnt the centipede that scared me so much as the abrupt cut to the centipede and the simultaneous loud music.
DP smells good... so fresh so clean. hehe.
