MIDNIGHT
after 2 buses and the B line, i finally arrived at db's 10mins till midnight. we had two options. wait till 4am and pay $25 for a cab, or run outside and take the next T as far as we could get before it stopped running and hopefully only have to pay $15 for a cab from gvmt center.
apparently i thought the T was the best bet. thus begins our adventure.
time flew fast while we waited for the T in the snow. damn cold... and wet.
we waited and waited and db insisted the T wasn�t coming. i replied "if it wasn�t coming they would have sent a little truck around to the stops with a T guy hanging out the window telling us 'its not coming'."
id say about 3 minutes later, maybe 5, a little truck comes around with a T guy hanging out the window (more like rolling the window down) and tells us 'its not coming... there is an electrical problem with the lines.'

12:30AM
by now we've taken the BC bus to the D line and wait ever so unpatiently, soaked to the bone. db insists we�ve already missed the last D train, but im positive there has to be one more coming and it can't be later than 12:20am. we finally agree to go to dunkin' donuts and find it is now 12:45am.

1AM
we get a cab to the airport. at least we'll be several hours early and not late. unfortunately it cost $30 because our cabbie took the longest route he could possibly think of... back tracking at least twice. i still insisted we give him a tip.
4:20AM SECURITY CHECK
we see "snoop dog" trying to get through security. unfortunately, security is also trying to get through security... its a catch 22 don't you think? when no one is there to check security through security!
we are finally able to check in, and we do so. the Delta counter woman looks at us and asks "now, you�re both over 15?" neither of us respond and ask each other later... uh, were we supposed to respond to that?
5:31AM EXHAUSTED
going on 24 hours with out so much as a nap, db says to me "topographically free, i could expand and contract based soley on my will. i would be the greatest three manifold this world has ever seen."
thank god we were able to board the plane and get a little sleep. we were exhausted from thinking.
