belief-o-matic

Okay, I simply love reading other people's journals. Have I ever mentioned that? Probably not.

Well, on my daily cruise through my good ol' buddy list, I read mychai's journal which had a link to his livejournal journal linking to the Belief-O-Matic, which is basically an online quiz which asks you what you believe and gives your score in a list of religions and beliefs. It's hard to explain... maybe you should just take the test yourself.

Anyway, as a Neo-Pagan, I got an A+. (In the World According to Amy, 100% is an A+, not just an A). For Christian Science, I get a C+. This is quite a useful tool.

1. Neo-Pagan (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (97%)
3. New Age (92%)
4. Liberal Quakers (88%)
5. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (86%)
6. Theravada Buddhism (85%)
7. Mahayana Buddhism (84%)
8. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (79%)
9. New Thought (76%)
10. Taoism (72%)
11. Secular Humanism (70%)
12. Scientology (67%)
13. Hinduism (65%)
14. Bah' Faith (60%)
15. Jainism (53%)
16. Orthodox Quaker (52%)
17. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (50%)
18. Reform Judaism (49%)
19. Sikhism (48%)
20. Nontheist (41%)
21. Jehovah's Witness (36%)
22. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (35%)
23. Seventh Day Adventist (26%)
24. Orthodox Judaism (22%)
25. Eastern Orthodox (15%)
26. Islam (15%)
27. Roman Catholic (15%)

This still doesn't answer the question that has been running through my mind all week... "Since I live next door to the Christian Science Church, should I attend, just to see if it's for me?" C+ can go either way.

Perhaps one of the dozens of other quizes available on their site will help me...
