drove all over new england this weekend. i think i am officially an amazing genius since i was able to both navigate my way from lynn, ma to boston and then up to windsor, nh and then to st johnsbury, vt with only one wrong turn AND navigate my way home to boston from st johnsbury, vt and even take back roads to bypass tolls and some sunday evening traffic.
and will all these hours of driving (aprox 11 hours total), i will be returning my awesome Pontiac Vibe rental car to lynn, ma and then heading to south station to catch a bus back up to st jay, vt.
crazy?
perhaps.
i will be helping pb pack and toss for this weekend's move into her father's home where she will be the overnight caretaker of said father (aka db's grandfather). plus, tuesday thru thursday i shall kitty-sit while pb and jb head out for a much needed vacation away from home.
did i mention that i LOVE the pontiac vibe??? because, i do. neat features include: headlights just knowing when to turn on and off, thus eliminating your need to think or do it yourself. stereo system which knows the call letters of the station you are listening to, plus tells you the artist and song playing at any given time. fancy coin holders all over the place. pretty color options (mine was blue). awesome cruise control. some serious power. comfy tilting drivers seat that adjusts to how you sit. a cd player (ive never had a rental car with a cd player). and tons of room all over the place for stuff stuff and more stuff.
someday i may have one. why? b/c i like it. i love it. its beautiful and fun. a wagon that feels like a sports car. amazing.
