the game was excellent... well, what we could see of it.

we were way way out in the right outfield, facing center outfield. there was a great big support beam blocking our view of the pitcher, but if we craned our necks we could see a small one inch figure, aka the batter.

you should know that it wasnt just the game that made the game exciting. oh no. it was oh so much more than that. the woman in the next section, a few rows back who passed out or nearly died. the constant pausing while cruising up and down the aisles making it impossible to see that one inch figure (aka the batter) during some of the most intense moments and excellent plays. the $5.50 i was refunded due to a mosquito squished in my hotdog bun. the 3 talkative 30 year old republican men seated directly behind us who insisted on making phone calls during the game - one guy even called his mother to ask when GW would be speaking b/c he didnt want to miss it. the fight that broke out (perhaps over an annoying person on their cell phone?) and required a staff member to literally take a guy down by leaping upon him in a spiderman fashion. and of course, the one dollar bills that began falling from the sky during the 8th inning.

oh, plus we won the game.

watch out yankees... here we come!
