i just paid rent.
i handed my check to the landlord (he was here picking up my roommate for a lunch date) and he said "thanks! how bout the deposit?"
my reply was "oh, we haven't done that yet."
i could tell he didn't understand. so i pointed down the hall, in the direction of my roommate said again "we haven't done that part yet."
he continued looking at me as if i had just mumbled something about cheese not keeping well on Jupiter and said "CM already gave me her half."
this was news to me. last time CM and i talked about the deposit, over a month ago, we were gonna have our third roommate pay it when we acquired her.
i told him id talk to CM and get back to him.
JFC, if i pay a deposit i will have no money for food. this is a serious problem. im starting to freak out. i cant afford this place if i have to pay full rent every month. we're supposed to have another roommate.
and we just got our gas and electric bills... $200 for 18 days of heat.
omg, omg, omg.
um, im gonna go do my taxes and pray i either break even or get some back.
my space heater, sounds like money quickly adding up
