finally a bit cooler today due to rain. what a relief. its supposed to be 67 tomorrow with sunshine, i do look forward to it quite a bit.
spent most of the day reading, then did family jeopardy. family jeopardy is exactly what it sounds like... when the family watches jeopardy and shouts out possible questions to the answers. since ive hardly watched tv or kept up with news in 10 years i tend to participate the least... im almost always stumped, this is to the benefit db's family since they all appear to be geniuses to me.
db's mom, herein referred to as pb, has 3 cats of varying degrees of skittishness / friendliness. from most to least skittish we have:
melody - grey like sydney but terrified of all things human or capable of movement.
muffin - a cross between magoo and delilah, a blendid patchwork of orangish brown colors and when she lays on her side you are certain she is merely a flat bit of carpet with a head. she has sniffed at me a few times and even allowed me to pet her before getting bored or freaking out and running off.
finally, shadow or shadly - the larger wide-nosed black bear/panther of a cat who might just want to marry me. he paws at your shoulder for attention, mimicking an impatient friend's "hey marty, hey, hey marty." he also tends to come spend time with me in bed, hopping up on the dresser if i move to the otherside of the room, hopping back to the bed as i return.
db is para-educating the rest of this week, then we are free to roam the vermont wilderness as we choose... well, when we can borrow the car. we may rent a car from rent-a-wreck if needed, only $19.99/day for a pick-up truck.
im unable to keep in touch as much as id like due to my lack of wireless internet. st. johnsbury is a small enough town that there arent any wireless cafes around to quench my usual internet desires. alas, im much more productive when online and play far fewer games.
my little eyes are getting tired, so off to bed i go.
